Ricardo Hernandez

Ricardo Hernandez is a father of two amazing children, is a certified drug and alcohol counselor, and has earned his Master’s in Social Work from the California State University of Northridge. Ricardo has worked in the field of social work for the past ten years. Currently, Ricardo is a program director for a gang prevention program at a non-profit organization and facilitates multiple fatherhood-specific parenting groups. For the past four years, Ricardo has turned his career focus to helping fathers understand their importance and help fathers re-establish their relationships with their children. This has been accomplished through multiple support groups established by Ricardo in collaboration with the department of children and family services and multiple agencies. Ricardo is a speaker, trainer, and clinical social worker in training.
